Pair your Android app
- On your phone, open Cast to Sonos → Settings → Browser controls.
- Enable pairing, then open the web controls or share the private link to this browser.
- Keep both devices on the same Wi-Fi and allow local-network access when asked.
Requires the Android update with Browser controls. Pairing lasts 30 minutes. Keep the app open when you are not casting. Audio stays between the phone and Sonos.
A paired browser can control speakers. Share the link only with people you trust. Starting a microphone or app-audio cast always needs confirmation on your phone.
Connected
Choose music in your music service or Sonos app. These controls act on the selected room’s existing playback.
Open the Android app to approve a request. Browser pairing cannot bypass Android’s capture permissions.
